Here are some examples of  the one-of-a-kind lamps we have recently made. If there
is a blue '
A' in the description, the item is still available. 207-799-9159 for details.
Left: From my "Mantern"
series, this lamp featured a
wind-up clock, thermometer,
and hydrometer.

Right: From my "
Sea Glass"
collection, this night light
stands about 6 inches tall. I
custom make these to
order. Each one comes out
a little different.

This pulley light supports an aluminum shade from Benjamin Lighting.
The weight was a cannon ball found on Willard Beach in SoPo.
From my "Primitive" collection, these lights center on antique
whiffle trees found on local farms. This one uses two
aluminum shades, rusty chains, and new, rusty sockets.
Another "primitive", this one uses two tension rods from old buck
saws for support. The shades are enameled steel
One of my favorites, a night light made
for an old glass insulator. Again, these
are custom made to order, and no two
come out the same!

From the
forge, this
small hand
wrought
chandelier
was created
on a whim
when I threw
together a
knife making
forge in a
restored barn.

Three night lights recently made. The left and center ones are
old telegraph insulators. The one on the right is an old running
light off a boat. The glass was clear, but turned a perfect violet
color over time.
All three sold.
"Water Crystal" is a nice accent light
using beautiful aqua colored, cut
crystals suspended by a thin,
hardened brass rod. They surround a
candelabra bulb and a beeswax
candle cover resting in a vintage, cut
glass bobesche. All solid brass
accents.
Available $150
This is a rare, 19th century gasolier lamp shade suspended from a
solid brass pendant and resting on a vintage, cast brass 5" gas
fitter. What was interesting about this lamp was the small, three light
chandelier we created for the shade, which gave the appearance of
still using natural gas. The pendant is approximately three feet long,
but can be altered to any length.
Sold
This is a solid brass pendant featuring a cast
brass chandelier arm used in an unorthodox
way. Standing about 24 inches, the lamp
also features a nice, early 20th century,
scalloped edge glass shade. A grounded,
ceramic socket with silicone coated wiring
was required for this pendant as it was
designed for continuous use.

A solid bronze
laboratory faucet was
the impetus behind this
lamp. It sits on a
salvaged piece of
soapstone counter top
as well as a vintage
marble base. The
faucet's handle became
the light switch, and a
light blue, ribbed glass
shade is positioned on
a multi-positional swivel.

Available $300
This Lighthouse was designed from a cast bronze steam valve
salvaged off a side wheeler that sunk off the coast of Maine.
Weighing in at 30 pounds, the tapered base of the valve was
so perfect it could only be made into a lighthouse. The top
was made from salvaged finds, and feature a cobalt blue
window and violet colored glass lens.
This brass sconce was made from
miscellaneous parts and married to a
new, leaded glass shade. The shade
features a copper frame with a nice oil
rubbed finish. I used an antique
Hubbell socket with a paddle switch.
SOLD
This lamp came out so cool. It is made
of solid brass components all of which
are recycled save for the base.. The
shade is a period, mushroom style with
carved grape vines. I did a light satin
finish on all the brass parts for a soft,
yellow glow that will develop a nice
patina with time.
